How easy it is
To be pushed down and scorned.
To be laughed at and mocked.
How easy it is
For others to hate you.
For others to break you.

What’s not easy
Is trying to live
When your fire is slowly dimming
And almost snuffed out.
What’s not easy
Is working your hardest
And knowing it’s not enough yet.

The thing is.
To bring back a fire,
You need to give it some air.
So stop for a moment.
Give a little sigh,
And fan it back to life :)
