06/01/18 - Amidst the Sunset of Colours, I See You.

Have you ever experienced one of those moments,

Where you’re atop a mountain,

And it’s sunset.

The sky is a rainbow of colours.

It’s a painting,

A masterpiece.

The oranges splashed,

‘cross the inside of a crystal ball.

Purples and pinks,

Coloured over an ocean of blue.

And before it all,

An outline.

The silhouette of a soul.

This soul,

Though all I see of it is darkness,

Is the focus of my perspective and attention.

Though its background coloured,

And the sight of a lifetime,

All I see,

All I care about,

Is you:

That soul before me.
